GOOD THINGS UTAH PROJECT

"JOY, NOEL, PEACE" Christmas Card Holder



Materials needed: 15 Clothespins, Christmas Paper & coordinating embellishments (ribbon, buttons, brads, etc...), Chipboard Alphabet Stickers, Thick Wire, Spray Paint, Mod Podge, Hot Glue Gun
Instructions:
1 - Spray paint wire brown (or whatever color matches your paper)
2 - Cut your paper to 3/8" strips and cover the clothespins using mod podge and let dry
3 - Hot glue your chipboard letters to the top of clothespins (half of the letter on and half off) "Joy, Peace, Noel"
4 - Embellish clothespins as desired with ribbon, buttons, bling, etc...
5 - Hot Glue the wire to back of each clothespin about 3/4" from top
6 - Hang how desired and add christmas cards

FLOWER TOPIARY

Supplies Needed
* topiary form (any size desired) 
* basket/bucket/box to hold it 
* coordinating flowers in different sizes & colors
* coordinating ribbon in different colors
* coordinating brads & buttons in desired colors
* hot glue gun
* thin cardstock strips to fill bucket
Instructions
1 - using the larger flowers put a pin through the middle and poke into topiary where desired, loop ribbon through buttons and hot glue to large flowers
2 - using the smaller flowers, put a brad through center and push into topiary
3 - wrap topiary stick with matching ribbon
4 - cut matching cardstock pieces into thin strips (approx 1/8"x3"), stick bottom of topiary in desired container and fill with cardstock strips so base isn't showing
5 - embellish container as desired

"LOVE" Wall Hanging
GTU Project - Feb. 9

Supplies Needed
6 - 3.5x3.5 acrylic pieces
4 - 3.25x3.25 white cardstock
4 - 3x3 black and white photos
2 - 3" bazzill raven flowers, 2" bazzill white flowers, 2 medium black brads
5 - 1/2" metal rings
ribbon - 18" black with white stitching, 12" black w/white dots, 12" white ruffled grosgrain
black ink pad, cropadile
"LOVE" letters (stickers, metal, paper etc...)

Square 1 -
punch two holes in the top left corner and string the 18" black ribbon through each hole and tie a knot at the top, tie 6" of 2 other ribbons around the left and right side of black stitched ribbon (next to acrylic). Layer 1 white flower onto a black flower, connect with a brad and adhere to center. Punch a hole in the bottom middle.
Square 2-5
Using your 3x3 photos adhere to the 3.25x3.25 white cardstock and ink the edges with a black stamp pad and adhere to each acrylic piece. Punch a hole in the center of the top and bottom of each square. Adhere the letters to each picture spelling "LOVE" top to bottom.
Square 6 -
Layer 1 white flower onto a black flower, connect with a brad and adhere to center. Punch a hole in the top center

Using the Metal rings connect each square together so it hangs up and down

Valentines Countdown
Studio 5 Project


Supplies Needed: small paint pail
American Crafts Valentines paper & coordinating cardstock
American Crafts Valentines Rubons & Chipboard Embellishments
Coordinating Ribbon (approx. ½ yard of 10-12 different kinds)
14 – 2x2 Chipboard Squares, 25 – 2x2 Pattern paper squares
Miscellaneous valentines candy
Numbers for each day (1-14) either stickers, or cutout with a cricut
Instructions:
Cut 2 strips of 2.5x8 cardstock, and 2 strips of 2x8 valentines paper, glue the patterned paper to the cardstock and wrap both pieces around center of pail so it is completely covered.
Using the American Crafts rubons, rub on miscellaneous words around the top of the pail, Cut your ribbon into 6” pieces and tie around handle
Lid – cut a 3.25” circle with color cardstock and a 3” circle with pattern paper, glue cardstock to center of lid and then glue pattern paper to cardstock

Inside of Bucket
Cut 14 – 2x2 pieces of chipboard, cover each piece with coordinating paper on both sides, using your numbers stick to one side of each square (1-14), embellish with either ribbon, rubons, or chipboard shapes
Using the quotes supplied (or you can write your own little notes), type into a 2x2 square and print on coordinating cardstock. Cut each quote into a 2x2 square and randomly adhere to the back of chipboard squares. With the other squares that don’t have a quote adhere them to treats
Stack numbered squares from the bottom up (14-1)
Using the remaining chipboard embellishments, loop the ribbon through them

"WHY I LOVE YOU" Mini Album

Supplies Needed
Creative Imaginations 3x3 Chipboard Book
4 pieces of Valentines Paper
3 sheets of coordinating cardstock
tags, ribbon, flowers, brads, rubons, Making Memories tickets

Instructions
*Cut (1) 3" strip from each piece of pattern paper and then cut each strip into 3" squares, adhere to pages of book where desired (there will be some excess so either cut off or sand it)
When adhering paper to chipboard only put adhesive in the corners so the tags will slide in
* Using the coordinating cardstock cut some 2.5x2.5 square, ink the edges brown, embellish as desired (ribbon, brads, etc...) and adhere to pages you want
* Using the tags cover the front and back with the coordinating cardstock colors (you can either put a rubon on the tag, or write a little note) punch a hole in the top of each tag and tie ribbon through it and slide behind pages a desired
* Cover the spine of the book with ribbon
* Embellish the rest of pages as desired with embellishments and add pictures where you want
* Front Cover - Adhere a 2.5x2.5 red cardstock to front and then using letter rubons spell out "WHY
